A great beginner lesson isn’t just about playing the right notes—it’s about building trust, curiosity, and momentum from the very first session.
At Selah Music and Arts, every new student is welcomed with patience, encouragement, and a personalized approach. We don’t just follow a book—we get to know your child, how they learn, and what excites them. That could mean using a favorite song to teach rhythm, introducing finger games for coordination, or celebrating a small win with a sticker and a high five.
Our goal is to make students feel safe, successful, and inspired—even if it’s their very first time at the piano. We lay a strong foundation in technique and listening skills, but we also keep things light, joyful, and age-appropriate.
